Intro to the Appalachian Trail

Event Details

The Appalachian Trail has some of the best and most scenic hiking in the Eastern United States, and a majority of the AT is within reach of us here in the tri-state. This presentation will highlight not only the best multi-day trips along the AT, but also review the most important elements to planning your journey.
The AT is unique in its resources, culture, and wilderness. We’ll take a close look at putting a trip together and make some suggestions of our personal favorite areas. This is a great way to find a new hike on the AT, or check it off your bucket list!
Your presenter: Bryan “Ice Man” Wolf is a 06′-07′ AT thru-hiker completing all 2,175 miles through a winter southbound trek. Bryan continues to day hike and section hike portions of the AT every year.
