Friends of Red River Gorge is a non-profit that assists the US Forest Service in maintaining and protecting the Red and promotes safe and educational use of the resource. FoRRG will be here in store at RRT to give a 45 minute introduction to hiking the Red. This will include an overview of regulations, parking challenges, suggested clothing and gear, and a review of trails from beginner to advanced levels. They will also discuss tips for using online resources and navigation apps. Come join us to hear about one of the area’s best treasures!
