Event Details

Join us Tuesday May 10th when Nancy Ball will talk about her book: “How to Poop in the Woods…and other Backpacking Essentials for Women”. This book is a guide for anyone just getting started in backpacking, as well as those who’ve tried it a few times and are now ready to start acquiring their own gear.
Nancy brings nearly 20 years of backpacking experience into the writing of this book. She has been backpacking since 2003 and began organizing and leading backpacking trips since 2006. She is a certified Outings Leader for Sierra Club and co-wrote the curriculum for the Miami Group Backpacking School. As a former camp director and naturalist, she is passionate about sharing her love of the outdoors with others. Nancy and her husband met in the woods, got married on top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, and have been adventuring ever since.
This presentation will outline some of the tips and tricks from her book, give you a chance to meet the author, buy a copy, or get your copy signed!
